This fragment was decorated using a new technique: painting a compound of silver on the back of the glass. After firing in a kiln, the silver compound turned yellow. V&A

One of my favourite finds while traveling last year. Took these pictures at a largely abandoned arcade in central Budapest. I didn’t know it at the time, but the pivotal scene in ‘Munich’ was shot here.
