A stained glass window in the Ramos Pinto port house, Vila Nova da Gaia, Portugal, depicting a devilish character (possibly Bacchus - God of wine) climbing up the thigh of what looks like a “port goddess”. Adriano Ramos Pinto had a deliciously irreverent approach to marketing his Port wine (initially to Brazil).
The design was initially projected by the Portuguese architect Marques da Silva with the work completed in the Picard and Cie., Paris in 1899
